Which tool fits which job?
Connectors run in your browser or in Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, with no sign-in, on any Claude plan (the Free plan allows one custom connector). Plugins install in Claude Code or Cowork.

When are these tools not the right fit?
- When you need live market, competitor or CRM data: every connector works only from what you type, and none reads a CRM or looks anything up.
- When you want finished, publish-ready documents: outputs are drafts, with placeholders where your inputs gave no fact.
- When you need saved history or shared workspaces: the connectors store nothing.
- When you only use the Claude chat apps and want the plugins: plugins install in Claude Code or Cowork; the connectors work in the chat apps.
- When your website is not in English: the AEO and GEO toolkit is designed for English-language websites.

Questions and answers
What is the difference between a connector and a plugin?
A connector is an MCP server: Claude calls its tools over the internet, and each tool returns an answer built from your inputs. A plugin installs skills into Claude Code or Cowork: instructions and reference files that Claude follows in your own session.
Are they free?
Yes. The connectors need no account and cost nothing. The plugins are free to install from their public GitHub repositories.
Do the connectors use AI to write the answers?
No. Each connector tool applies fixed rules in its code to your inputs. Claude, or whichever assistant you use, writes around the tool's answer.
What do the plugin pages show?
What each skill does, who it is for, how to install it, its licence, and a real output from a test run on 25 September 2026, shown as produced.
